Peel the Onion: What options does the US President have to restore his national election image after an inadequate Pandemic rating-06.05.20, THEN on 06.19.20 pursue Option C- Reinvigorate the economy by whatever means: to include further stimulus: using Option Solving?

When we surmised how the US President would choose his optimum option for a June 5th option solving session, we assumed that he chose Option C – ‘Reinvigorate the economy by whatever means; including a further stimulus package.’ So as to maximize the effect of that choice, he was advised to ‘Peel the Onion’ related to that choice, so as to discover his most effective sub-option going forward.  We therefore proceeded with that ‘Peel the Onion’ exercise to reveal his most likely sub-option for Option C.

This meant revising his initial question to: “What options does the US President have to restore his national election image after an inadequate Pandemic rating on 06.05.20, THEN on 06.19.20-Peel the Onion: Chose Option C – Reinvigorate the economy by whatever means, including further stimulus; considering 1) overtaken by George Floyd crisis, 2) very strong counter-narrative by mainstream media, 3) need to revitalize the economy, and 4) being undermined by various public figures?” Again we restricted ourselves to four key considerations that are most likely to influence his decision.  By holding it to four, it reduces the complexity of his decision-making and recommendation when the moment arrives: despite there being others.

We then speculated again on his behalf by putting together two yin and yang “bookends,”as these will help his intuitive mind to remain focused. Bookends such as these are vital for preventing our fertile intuitive minds from wandering and losing concentration. We are mostly unaware of how powerfully valuable but foot-loose our intuition can be unless we can properly keep it focused.

Our recommended new bookends turned out to be: “Let things fall where they may”electorate too volatile to ignore, and “Devote 100% time to campaign trail before November 2020,” could suffer over exposure. We italicized detractors associated with these least likely options. Even so, they would nudge the President’s intuitive thinking into high gear – see ourLatest Worked Example.

As per our previous option solving exercise, we challenged ourselves to produce at least five realistic options on his behalf, although we again produced six – prior to any emotional distancing, which is a form of objective thinking, before making his choice …perhaps after 2 hours, later in the day, or first thing tomorrow morning. You can replace his likely proposed options with any of your own. You can foresee one of his most likely sub-options as: Option BB – Call for another immediate stimulus package for businesses and workforces.

Now we have produced this sub-option pictograph on his behalf, the President and his advisors will have the opportunity to make a collective decision based upon their anonymous votes. From there he and his team can put an action initiative together, while things are still fresh in their minds, or pursue yet another ‘Peel the Onion’ exercise with sub-sub-options.
