“What is my best option to convince publishers to back my book- Peel the Onion-Option A- Pursue 200+ Contact list for buyer support: using Option Solving?

Having decided on Option A- Pursue 200+ Contact list for buyer support – the question now becomes how to expand upon that grass roots listing so it becomes an ever expanding universe? What are the sub-options available to expand on current contact listing in a positive way? Publishers are interested in the book but they want to see a greater buyer platform.

The subsequent option solving question now becomes: “What is my best option to convince publishers to back my book- Peel the Onion-Option A- Pursue 200+ Contact list for buyer support; considering 1) am not a natural ‘connector’, 2) will likely need at least 5000 book commitments, 3) limited funding options, and 4) give it enough focus and priority?” Again, I restricted myself to four key considerations that are most likely to influence my optimal decision.  By holding it to four, it reduces the complexity of my decision-making when the moment arrives: despite there being others.

Now I could turn to creating two yin and yang “bookends,”as these will help my intuitive mind to remain focused. Bookends such as these are vital for preventing our fertile intuitive minds from wandering and losing concentration. We are mostly unaware of how powerfully valuable but foot-loose our intuition can be unless we can properly keep it focused.   

These bookends turned out to be the exact same ones for this next decision moment: “Let momentum build on its own”way too slow,and “Seek $100K funding to finance sales and promotion,” unlikely possibility. We italicized detractors associated with these least likely options. Even so, they would nudge my intuitive thinking into high gear – see ourLatest Worked Example.

I then challenged myself to produce at least five realistic stretch sub-options and left open the possibility of producing a sixth over the next 24 hours: which happened in the last round. This would occur prior to any emotional distancing, which is a form of objective thinking, before making my choice sometime after that …perhaps after 2 hours, later in that day, or first thing the following morning. You can replace my proposed options with any of your own. You can note one of my sub-options as: Option CC – Get LEJs help to expand 200+ grass roots listing.

Now I have produced this pictograph, I will either have to produce another option over the next 24 hours or proceed with the minimum of five. From there I will put an action initiative together for CC, while things are still fresh in my mind. This appeared the optimum solution for now. The challenge was then to implement and come up with other more advanced promotional activities.
